The business in Plymouth was initially established in the 1960s in the form of Charles Lovick & Co Ltd and Linaker (Plymouth) Ltd who merged in 2002 and continue to trade as Linaker (Plymouth) Ltd. Linaker (Plymouth) Ltd was subsequently purchased in 2006 by SBJ UK Ltd and become part of the Bluefin family in 2010. In 2020, Jelf became Marsh Commercial, aligning the business closer to its parent company.
