The 2017 Jelf Employee Benefits Survey

We are delighted to announce that the 2017 Jelf Employee Benefits Survey is now available.

This, our third annual survey, is a reflection of the most pressing Employee Benefits – and related – issues of the last 12 months.  The survey also looks ahead to another busy year of change in 2017 (and beyond).

We believe this survey is the most wide-ranging in the benefits space, covering topics as diverse as the launch of the Lifetime ISA (LISA), benefits for Carers, the recently announced changes to Salary Sacrifice rules, Cyber Security in benefit provision, Income Protection, early intervention in absence management, international employee benefits, and Financial Education.

Once again the participants in the survey were employers from across England and Wales.  These organisations represented medium and large sized employers, and included representation from public, private and third sector employers.  This is therefore another important document which we hope will be of use to many employers, campaigners, and legislators as we enter the uncertain business environment of 2017 and beyond.

We will of course focus and expand on some specific stories from this survey in the weeks and months ahead.
